1-03-08 Big news here on the River Mountains Loop Trail!

To all you trail riding/hiking buffs looking for some New Year's riding and hiking we bring you a Holiday Gift wrapped around the River Mountains in the form of 13.2-miles of new asphalt trail ready for you to slowly unwrap and experience.

As of today the connection has been made past the Fish Hatchery to old Lake Shore Road which means you can use the trail from Pacifica Trailhead in Boulder City all the way to Las Vegas Bay Marina or where old Lake Shore Rd. ties into new Lake Shore Rd. This entire alignment provides great views of Lake Mead, the Muddy Mountains, Fortification Hill, Saddle Island, and of course the River Mountains.

So if you need a break or a breather from daily life, here is a great place to experience freedom and fresh air away from the city.
